    We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to integrate our client accounting team.

    Job Description

    The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the accounting function for a dedicated portfolio of clients including global business companies, Delaware, trusts, domestic and Seychelles companies.

    The key responsibilities will be as follows:

    • Preparation of management accounts within required reporting timeframe.
    • Preparation of financial statements for standalone and consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS.
    • Liaising with the auditors for finalisation of accounts.
    • Annual corporate tax & APS computation and filing of returns with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation of VAT & TDS returns and filing of returns with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation of the payroll for companies along with the filing of PAYE and CSG with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation and submission of FSC surveys to the Commission.
    • Handling client queries professionally, ensuring client satisfaction and timely service delivery.
    • Compliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence with relevant accounting procedure manuals.
    • Work with the corporate team to ensure systematic and timely filing of financial statements and tax returns.
    • Perform month-end closing process and any other duties assigned on an ad hoc basis.

     Job Profile

    • Degree Holder in relevant field or fully/partly Qualified ACCA.
    • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Financial Services sector of global business entities.
    • Good technical awareness with regards to statutory requirements for Global business entities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word & Excel)
    • Experience in QuickBooks and SAP will be an advantage.
    • Broad knowledge of ITA/VAT and good awareness of AML/CFT along other relevant regulations and legislations.
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent client relationship, communication, and interpersonal skills.
