    Job Description

    The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of Global Business Companies, International Business Companies and Trusts.

    Profile

    • Degree Holder in relevant field, fully/partly ICSA qualified
    • Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant working experience in Financial Services Sector
    • Technical awareness with regards to statutory requirements for Global Business Companies and Trusts
    • Knowledge of AML/CFT and other relevant regulations and legislation
    • Excellent time and organisational skills to work and meet agreed tight deadline
    • Excellent client relationship, communication and interpersonal skills

    Job Description:

    The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the accounting function for a dedicated portfolio of clients including global business companies, BVIs, trusts and domestic companies.
    The key responsibilities will be as follows:

    • Preparation of management accounts within required reporting timeframe.
    • Preparation of financial statements for standalone and consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS.
    • Liaising with the auditors for finalisation of accounts.
    • Annual corporate tax & APS computation and filing of returns with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation of VAT & TDS returns and filing of returns with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation of the payroll for companies along with the filing of PAYE and NPS with the local tax authority.
    • Preparation and submission of FSC surveys to the Commission.
    • Perform month-end closing process and any other duties assigned on an ad hoc basis.
    Job Profile:
    • Degree Holder in relevant field or fully/partly Qualified ACCA.
    • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Financial Services sector of global business entities.
    • Good technical awareness with regards to statutory requirements for Global business entities.
    • Good awareness of AML/CFT and other relevant regulations and legislation.
